Mark Freivald

Mark Freivald has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mark started their career in 1997 at Inacom Help Central as a Hardware Associate. Mark then moved on to the Inacom Network Operation Center (NOC) in 1998, where they worked as a Network Operator, managing and supporting network operations. In 1999, they transitioned to Inacom Networks as a Network Engineer for a brief period.

Mark then joined IBM Global Services in 2000 as an Advisory IT Specialist, specializing in network and technology planning, design, and deployment. Mark held CCNP and CCDP certifications for nine years and dealt with Cisco IOS and hardware. After leaving IBM, Mark took an occupational hiatus from 2008 to 2011, during which they worked as an Author and Editor, writing a novel and working as a staff writer and associate editor for an online magazine.

In 2011, Mark joined Wheeler Network Design as a Network Engineer, working until 2017, where they handled various network engineering responsibilities. Mark then worked briefly at InfoZen in early 2017 as a Sr. Network Engineer. Later that year, they joined Alltech International, Inc. as a Sr. Network Engineer until September 2018. Their most recent position has been at Computer World Services Corp. (CWS) since January 2020, where they hold the role of Network Engineer II.

Mark Freivald attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and German. Following this, from 1988 to 1989, they studied German Studies at Leibniz Universität Hannover. Later, from 1991 to 1993, Mark pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
