Shane Brauner currently serves as the Chair of the NewYorkCIO Chapter, part of a nationwide network supporting chief information officers. At Schrödinger, Shane has advanced through various leadership roles since 2009, currently holding the position of Executive Vice President and CIO, overseeing IT, HPC, security, and operations. Prior experiences include managerial positions at Pfizer, VeriCenter, and the University of Houston, focusing on high-performance computing and IT operations. Shane has contributed to several organizations, including Computing for Humanity and Konexio as a board and advisory member, respectively. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
