Eve Schooler

Eve Schooler has an extensive background in computer science and engineering, currently serving as the RAEng Visiting Professor of Sustainable Computing at the University of Oxford, where they focus on integrating sustainability into engineering education. Previously, Eve held key roles at Intel Corporation, including Principal Engineer and Director, where they advanced carbon-aware networking and influenced IoT standards. Their early career included significant contributions to the development of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) at the Information Sciences Institute, and they have been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2020 IEEE Internet Award. Eve's academic pursuits include degrees in computer science from Yale University and the California Institute of Technology, along with studies in music composition.
