Peter Harsha has been working at Computing Research Association since October 2001, where Peter currently holds the title of COO and Senior Director of Government Affairs. Peter's responsibilities include improving public and policy maker understanding of the nature of research and increasing awareness and participation of the computing community in policy issues. Prior to this, Peter served as Interim Executive Director at the House Committee on Science, Subcommittee on Research from June 1998 to September 2001, and as a Professional Staff, Chairman's Designee for Congressman Nick Smith, MI-07 from June 1995 to June 1998. Peter attended El Camino Real High School from 1984 to 1988 and Hillsdale College from 1993 to 1997, where Peter earned a BA in English.
