Ron Brachman

Ron Brachman is a Visiting Professor at Cornell Tech and an AI Expert Consultant at Schmidt Sciences. They have held significant roles in various organizations, including serving as the Chief Scientist and Head of Yahoo Labs from 2008 to 2016, and as Director of DARPA's Information Processing Technology Office from 2002 to 2005, where they contributed to the development of technologies that influenced modern AI systems. Additionally, Ron has been involved in leadership positions in numerous AI and scholarly organizations, including the AAAI and the Computing Research Association. With a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, their academic and professional pursuits have significantly advanced the field of artificial intelligence.
