Kevin Self

Kevin Self has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kevin started their career at Quantum Information Resources as a Software Development Consultant, where they worked on adapting custom ERP solutions for a large Technology Manufacturing company. Kevin also designed and implemented custom Order Quoting and Inventory management modules for a large industrial manufacturing company.

Kevin then worked at the Sault Ste. Marie College of Applied Arts and Technology as an Instructor and Lecturer, teaching courses such as Software Engineering and Object Oriented Design.

Kevin then moved on to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation as a Senior Developer/Architect, where they led the development of solutions for the Lottery Market. Kevin played a key role in introducing Service Oriented Architecture and Application Server technology.

Next, Kevin joined IBM Global Services (Canada) as a Senior Software Developer/Architect, providing consulting services to clients in various industries. Kevin worked on designing a complex web-based e-commerce solution and managed a team of programmers.

After that, Kevin worked at ProQuest (Micromedia Canada Division) as the Director of Information Technology. Kevin oversaw the Development and IT groups and focused on stability, efficiency, security, and growth. Kevin also replaced existing systems with re-engineered JAVA-based architectures.

Most recently, Kevin worked at ComQi Inc. as the Chief Software Architect and later as the VP of Technology. Kevin was responsible for designing and architecting core products and services, introducing new technology platforms, and conducting gap analysis for the business.
