Chris Crump has over 30 years of experience in the broadcast and media industry. Chris began their career in 1987 as a Producer at Capital Cities/ABC, WHYT-FM (Power 96FM). In 1988, they moved to Mediabase Research/Monday Morning Replay as a Features Editor and Hit Radio Researcher, where they contributed to the Hit Radio Tuned In section and served as Features Editor for the Foreplay section. In 1991, they took on the role of Creative Services Director at Paxson Communications. Chris then worked as Creative Services Director at Ron & Ron Radio Network in 1995. In 1996, they became National Broadcast Sales Manager at Spectral, Inc., a pioneer and manufacturer of digital audio workstation technology for film, video, recording and broadcast applications. In 1998, they took on the role of Recorder Sales Manager at Euphonix, a manufacturer of high-end audio mixing and control systems for TV Broadcast, Film and professional Recording applications. Chris then served as Director of Sales & Marketing at Symetrix, Inc. in 1999 and Director of Sales & Marketing at Klotz Digital America in 2001. Since 2004, they have been the Sr. Director of Sales & Marketing at Comrex Corporation.
Chris Crump's education history includes attending Jefferson Junior High School from 1976 to 1977, Washington Junior High School from 1977 to 1978, Pontiac Central High School from 1979 to 1983, and Albion College from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a B.A. in English and Music. Additionally, Chris has obtained various certifications, including a Certified Broadcast Networking Engineer from the Society of Broadcast Engineers in 2018, a USA Archery Level 2 Instructor from USA Archery in 2019, and Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid from the Emergency Care & Safety Institute in 2020.
