Kul Bhasin

Founder and CEO at Comsat Architects

Kul Bhasin began their career in 1977 as Manager of Technology Development and Quality Assurance at Gould Electronics. In 1983, they joined the University of Cincinnati as an Associate Research Professor of Electrical Engineering. In 1985, they began working at the NASA Glenn Research Center as Senior Space Communications Architect. Kul later became Manager of Space Communication Architecture and Networks Engineering Projects and Manager of Technology Development Projects. In 2014, they founded and became CEO of Comsat Architects located in Rocky River, Ohio. Kul'scompany focuses on providing services in the creation of future space communication systems and network architectures, as well as developing Communication and IT technologies to support its clients and create new products. Kul also engages young people in inspiring technologies as they realize their full potential.

Kul Bhasin obtained their Ph.D. in Physics from Missouri University of Science and Technology between 1972 and 1976. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Physics from Purdue University in 1971-1972. Kul also obtained a B.S. and M.S. in Honors in Physics from Panjab University, Chandigarh between 1966 and 1970. In 2009, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Systems Engineering Architecture and Lifecycle Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
