Michael Vinson

Michael Vinson currently serves as the Chief Research Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations Management at Comscore, Inc., a position held since February 2016. Prior to this role, Michael was with Rentrak from April 2009 to February 2016, where responsibilities included Executive Vice President of Statistical Operations and Data Science, focusing on analytics and statistical research. Michael's career also includes leadership positions at Starcom MediaVest Group and erinMedia, where initiatives centered around data-driven media effectiveness were implemented. Academic contributions as an Associate Professor at American University of Sharjah and Assistant Professor at Shippensburg University, among other institutions, complement Michael’s extensive industry experience. Michael holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Physics from Cornell University.
