Vinay Kumar

Vinay Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vinay is currently the Managing Director at DATAWISE. Previously, they held the role of Chief Executive Officer at the same company from 2007 until August 2021. In 2014, Vinay became the President of ComSIm, Inc., a US-based customer services and analytics company. Vinay also served as a Director at Eternal Green, NEXUS Flight Operations Services, ISTPL - Inclusive Services and Technologies Pvt Ltd, and Sandu Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Earlier in their career, Vinay was the CEO of Vasant Scribes and the General Manager - Corporate Planning at Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited. Vinay worked as a Manager - Performance Improvement at NetJets and began their professional journey at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services, providing consulting assistance for valuation, due diligence, feasibility studies, mergers, and acquisitions.

Vinay Kumar has a diverse education history that spans across different institutions and fields of study. Vinay started their education in 1972 at St. Paul's School, Rourkela, where they completed their ICSE degree in 1982. In 1984, they enrolled in the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Vinay completed their engineering education in 1988.

After a gap of a few years, Vinay Kumar pursued further education and enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 1990. Vinay completed a PGDM program at this institution in 1992. Again, after a gap of several years, they pursued another educational opportunity and joined XLRI Jamshedpur in 2006. Vinay completed a Fellowship program at XLRI Jamshedpur in 2010.

Additionally, Vinay Kumar has obtained certifications in various fields. In 2009, they received the "IBM Certified Specialist - SPSS Statistics Level 1 v2" certification from SPSS South Asia Pvt. Ltd. In 2013, they obtained the CMC certification from ICMCI. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained the "Introduction to Programming Using Python" certification from VJIM Hyderabad.
