Michael Walt

Michael Walt is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Sr. Operations Engineer at Comstock Resources since August 2019, Michael previously held roles as a Sr. Production Engineer at Covey Park Energy from November 2016 to August 2019, where optimization of base production in the North Louisiana Haynesville/Bossier asset was a key focus. Michael's career includes positions at EP Energy as an Engineer, specializing in artificial lift applications, and roles at Frank's Electric Motor Service as a Motor Technician, as well as internships at Cimarex Energy and Energy XXI, where foundational skills in drilling and offshore production operations were developed. Michael earned a degree from Texas A&M University between 2008 and 2013.
