Ahmed S. has a diverse work experience in the finance sector. Ahmed is currently working as the Head Of Finance - Middle East at Westcon-Comstor. Prior to this, they were the Head of Finance at Abdul Latif Jameel. From 2014 to 2020, they served as the Regional Chief Financial Officer at FAWAZ GROUP, where they were responsible for the financial and operational integrity of the group. Ahmed then pursued further education and received an Advanced Accounting Certificate from The American University in Cairo from 2001 to 2003.

In 2019, Ahmed enrolled in London Business School to study Entrepreneurship, which they completed in 2021. During this time, they also became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) from 2019 to 2022.

In 2020, Ahmed joined The University of Chicago Booth School of Business to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Fintech, and Technology Strategies. Ahmed is expected to complete this degree in 2023. Additionally, they briefly attended Columbia Business School in 2020 for a program on Digital Strategies for Business.

Ahmed also invested in further professional certifications. In 2007, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the AICPA. In 2011, they obtained the Chartered Wealth Manager designation from the AAFM American Academy of Financial Management. In 2012, Ahmed became a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor through the Alliance of M&A Advisors. Ahmed is currently a CFA Level 3 candidate, pursuing the highly regarded CFA designation from the CFA Institute.

In 2023, Ahmed is expected to complete the Blended Professional Certificate: Chief Technology Officer from MIT Professional Education.
