Amy Watson

Amy Watson has a strong background in corporate law and legal counsel. Amy is currently the VP & Deputy General Counsel at Comtech Telecommunications Corp., a role they started in November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Avalara from September 2019 to July 2023 as an Associate General Counsel. From March 2019 to June 2019, they held the position of Deputy General Counsel at Esterline Technologies Corporation before becoming Deputy General Counsel & Corp Secretary. Amy began their legal career as an Associate at Perkins Coie LLP in September 1999 and stayed with the firm until April 2007.

Amy Watson attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1988 to 1992 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Amy then pursued further education at the same institution, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 1992 to 1993. Later, Amy attended the Vermont Law and Graduate School from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Master of Environmental Law and Policy (MSEL) degree as well as a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
