Dan Murphy

Dan Murphy is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Común, where responsibilities include developing core banking integrations, infrastructure leadership, and security initiatives. Previously, Dan contributed as a Founding Engineer at ModernFi, playing a key role in establishing a digital deposit network. Dan's extensive experience at Brex includes several software engineering roles and at Jam, automation of internal processes led to significant efficiency improvements. Additional roles encompass a Developer Ambassador position at Algorand Foundation, where Dan created technical educational materials, and involvement at Pathstream in designing technical courses. Dan's technical skills were further applied at Stacauto LLC in backend engineering and DevOps, and at Wilbur Labs as an Operations Consultant. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Davidson College.
