Alexander Tolstrup

Alexander Tolstrup has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions.

Alexander co-founded Comundo in 2022 and serves as the CSO and Co-founder.

In the same year, they became a Board Member at Danske Tech Startups.

From 2021 to 2022, Tolstrup worked at Proper, initially as an Advisory Board Member and later as the Director of Brand & Communications.

Prior to that, they worked at Trustpilot from 2017 to 2021, where they held multiple roles, including VP External Communications, Director of Communications - Europe, and Head of Communications - Europe.

From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Personal Adviser to the Party Chairman at the Conservative People's Party.

Before that, they worked at the Danish Youth Council from 2011 to 2014, where they held the position of Director of Communications & External Relations.

Tolstrup also worked as an External Lecturer at DIS - Denmark's International Study Program from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, they worked as a Freelance Political Analyst & Commentator for Radio24syv, covering and analyzing the US presidential election.

Alexander also had a brief stint as the Head of Press (Special Adviser) at the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs in 2011.

Lastly, Tolstrup worked as a Campaign Manager for the Conservative People's Party from 2007 to 2011.

In 2000, they enrolled at the University of Copenhagen and completed a degree in Political Science, earning a Cand.scient.pol.

In 2003, they pursued further studies at Goldsmiths, University of London, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Media & Communications in 2004. Alexander'sstudies focused on media, communications, audience research, and politics.

From 2008 to 2010, Tolstrup attended the University of Southern Denmark, where they earned a Diploma in Information Journalism & Communications.

In 2011, they enrolled at Metropolitan University College in Copenhagen, Denmark, and completed a Diploma in Management in 2013.

In 2014, Tolstrup attended Harvard Kennedy School for Executive Education, where they focused on Leadership, Organizing, and Action: Leading Change.

Lastly, in 2017, they completed a certificate program in Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School Online.
