Prashant Shandilya

Prashant Shandilya has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Prashant most recently worked as a Senior Principal Architect at Comviva starting in September 2018. Prior to that, they were a Technical Architect at Tech Mahindra from September 2018 to April 2022. Prashant also served as a Technical Specialist - Architect at Majesco from October 2017 to September 2018. Prashant worked as a Solution Architect at Capgemini from October 2013 to October 2017. Before that, they were a Tech Lead at Atos India from February 2006 to September 2013. Prashant began their career as an Associate Consultant at Polaris Software Labs Ltd. in April 2005. Prashant also worked as a Java Developer at Base Information Management Pvt Ltd from November 2004 to April 2005, and as a Software Developer at TATA STEEL from January 2004 to November 2004.

Prashant Shandilya obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Amravati University between 1998 and 2001. Prashant then pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Application from the same university between 2001 and 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Prashant has also obtained several certifications. Prashant earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2023. Prashant completed various courses on Apache Kafka through Udemy, including Apache Kafka Series - Kafka Connect Hands-on Learning, Apache Kafka Series - Kafka Security, Apache Kafka Series - Kafka Streams for Data Processing, and Apache Kafka Series - Learn Apache Kafka for Beginners v3. These courses were completed in March 2023 and December 2022. Prashant also completed the CQRS & Event sourcing with Kafka course from Udemy in July 2022, as well as the Microservices Architecture course in the same month.

In October 2021, they acquired the Architect SaaS Applications - Unique Challenges & Solutions certification from Udemy. Earlier that year, in July 2021, Prashant obtained the AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Confluent Fundamentals Accreditation from Confluent. Prashant also completed the Implementing DDD, CQRS and Event Sourcing with Axon course from AxonIQ in June 2021.

Prior to that, in January 2020, Prashant obtained the AWS Developer - Optimizing on AWS certification from edX. In June 2016, they earned the IBM Certified Application Developer - Cloud Platform v1 certification from IBM.
