Stephen E. Burkhardt has held various roles in the field of research and development, energy, and chemistry since 2001. From 2001-2004, they were a Computer Support Technician at the University of San Francisco and an Analytical Chemist in the Petrography Lab at Testwell Laboratories. In 2005, they became a Chemist at GE Global Research. From 2012-2018, they held various roles at DuPont, including Senior Research Investigator and Principal Investigator. In 2020, they became an Energy Executive In Residence at the Maryland Energy Innovation Accelerator.
