Stephen E. Burkhardt

Stephen E. Burkhardt has held various roles in the field of research and development, energy, and chemistry since 2001. From 2001-2004, they were a Computer Support Technician at the University of San Francisco and an Analytical Chemist in the Petrography Lab at Testwell Laboratories. In 2005, they became a Chemist at GE Global Research. From 2012-2018, they held various roles at DuPont, including Senior Research Investigator and Principal Investigator. In 2020, they became an Energy Executive In Residence at the Maryland Energy Innovation Accelerator. Since 2018, they have been the Chief Technology Officer, VP Research & Development, and Director of Research and Development at Conamix.

Stephen E. Burkhardt obtained a high school degree from Singapore American School between 1994 and 1998. Stephen E. then obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco between 2001 and 2004. Stephen E. then obtained an M.S. in Materials Chemistry from Cornell University between 2007 and 2009, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrochemistry // Materials from Cornell University between 2009 and 2012. In 2014, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from DuPont.
