José Vicente

José Vicente currently serves in various influential roles, including as a member of the Ethics Council at CONAR and the Editorial Council at Folha de S.Paulo, both since 2022. José Vicente also holds positions as a member of the Board of Directors for the Business Initiative for Racial Equality and the Research Council for the National Justice Council (CNJ). Since 2004, José Vicente has been the Rector at Universidade Zumbi dos Palmares. Additionally, José Vicente serves as the Vice President of the National Truth Commission on the Slave Trade in Brazil, as well as a member of the Racial Quotas Monitoring Commission at the University of São Paulo, the Advanced Studies Council at the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), and the Advisory Council of CIEE. José Vicente's academic qualifications include a Postdoctoral degree from USP, a Doctorate in Education, two Master's degrees (one in Law and one in Business Administration), and a Bachelor's degree in Law from various esteemed institutions.
