Welcome to CONBUD. We are more than a dispensary, but a New York City business focused on normalizing plant consumption, educating, and de-stigmatizing the formerly incarcerated community. We believe in second chances, which is why we hire ex-convicts in our shops, and offer our support to ease their transition back into society.

New York has one all-consuming habit: the systemic mass incarceration of Black and Latino individuals. During the War on Drugs, 85% of New York State’s prison population was Black and Latino with 75% of inmates across the State coming from just seven predominantly Black and Latino New York City neighborhoods. 

CONBUD was born by three Black and Latino entrepreneurs who were not only raised in these neighborhoods but who have also experienced New York’s criminal justice system firsthand.
