Patrick Ranson has a strong background in sales, advertising, and management. Patrick started their career as the Classified Director at Winston-Salem Journal in 2006 and later moved on to become the Regional Classified Director at Media General from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, they joined Winston-Salem Journal again, this time as the Retail Advertising Manager. Patrick led a team of marketing professionals and focused on providing digital marketing solutions to clients. In 2014, they joined ABT Power Management, Inc. as the Regional Sales Director, where they helped clients optimize their motive power equipment through battery maintenance and data-driven decision models.
Patrick Ranson pursued their education by completing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies. This was accomplished between the years 1988 and 1990 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following this, they obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Wake Forest University between 1998 and 2000.
