Özgür İtap was born in December 1990 as the third and youngest child of a teacher and a homemaker. They are currently continuing their studies in Management Information Systems at Bartın University. Özgür began their career in May 2015 as a customer representative at Doğu Çağrı Merkezi, quickly advancing to Team Leader and later to Training and Quality Team Leader by May 2016. In March 2017, they served as a Senior Team Leader at Tempo Çağrı Merkezi until departing in May 2017 for family reasons. Since 2021, Özgür has been working as a Planning Specialist at Concentrix, where they focus on WFM Global Delivery and process optimization.
