Cierra Walker

Cierra Walker, PhD, is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Conception, where they develop advanced pipelines for processing sequencing data and generate hypotheses to guide experimental teams. They have previously worked as an RUO Assay Development Scientist at Invitae, where they created NGS assays and implemented quality control methods. Cierra's early experience includes roles as a Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder and Howard Hughes Medical Institute, focusing on molecular mechanisms and genetic analyses. They hold a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BA in Biology from Colorado College.
