James Whitlam

James Whitlam has been working in the marine industry since 2011. James'sfirst role was as a Structural Engineering Summer Associate at HUTCHINSON WHITLAM ASSOCIATES LIMITED in 2011. James then worked as a Naval Architect at Longitude Engineering from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Naval Architect, Consultant Naval Architect, and Data Strategist - Marine at LOC. In 2019, they joined Concirrus as a Product Director - Data & Analytics and Data & Analytics Manager (Marine). Most recently, in 2022, they became a Big Data & Digitalisation Forum Member at the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI).

James Whitlam obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Ship Science with Engineering Management from the University of Southampton in 2013. In 2018, they obtained a Chartered Engineer certification from the Engineering Council and a Member certification from the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. In 2021, they obtained a Business Strategy & Financial Performance certification from INSEAD.
