Chris Nelson

Chris Nelson is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and service management. Currently serving as CTO SAP Concur and SVP Platform Engineering at SAP Concur since January 2018, Chris expanded the global organization's scope from 80 to 120 personnel, focusing on Service Management, DevOps, and additional engineering disciplines. Prior to this role, Chris held various leadership positions at Microsoft from 1999 to early 2018, including Principal Director of Service Engineering, where Chris centralized engineering functions for Windows Phones, and Senior Director for Business Productivity Online Suite, where Chris transformed IT teams for cloud service delivery. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Business with a Finance major from the University of Louisville.
