Tim Tibbits

Tim Tibbits has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Tim started their career in the US Navy, where they served as a Naval Flight Officer and later became a Captain and Commodore, commanding an air wing and managing its operations. During their time in the Navy, they were responsible for planning, organizing, and training to ensure maximum productivity.

After leaving the Navy, Tibbits transitioned to the business sector, working at Concurrent Technologies Corporation. Tim held various executive roles, including Executive Director of the Engineering Division and Executive Director of Business Development and Strategy. In these roles, they were responsible for overall management and leadership, business development coordination, developing market and business strategies, and fostering new client relationships to expand the business.

Additionally, Tibbits served as the President of the Central Loudoun Basketball League, where they organized and operated a non-profit basketball league for over 1300 youth players. Tim coordinated a board of directors and a large group of volunteers to ensure the league's success.

Overall, Tibbits has demonstrated strong leadership, management, and strategic planning skills throughout their career in both military and civilian settings.

Tim Tibbits obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Jacksonville University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. Tim later pursued a Master's degree in Resource Management at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, completing their studies in 2001.
