Chris Tate

Chris Tate has a strong background in leadership and engineering roles. Their most recent position was as the CEO of Condatis, a digital identity partner based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Prior to that, they worked at pureLiFi Ltd as the Optical and Software Director, where they led a team in designing and developing LiFi technology. Chris also served as the Optoelectronics Engineering Manager at pureLiFi Ltd, where they recruited and built a team and established business partnerships. Chris has experience in the medical optometry and ophthalmology markets, having worked at Optos as the Vice President of New Product Development and Senior Director of New Product Development. Chris has also held positions at MESL Microwave, Thales MESL, Racal MESL, and the Royal Navy, where they gained experience in engineering, sales, and military operations.

Chris Tate attended Britannia Royal Naval College from 1991 to 1992, where they studied Aviation, Maritime, and Radar Technology. Prior to that, they attended King Edwards School in Bath from 1982 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, Chris also obtained the Saltire Leader eVolve Entrepreneurial Development Programme certification from Entrepreneurial Scotland in 2022.
