Jing Hu has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering field. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for ConductorOne. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer for Okta, Inc., where they developed features for multi-factor authentication mobile app in Objective-C / Swift / Android on the client side and MDM features such as Wi-Fi config and hosted appstore using Java on the server side. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer for Zynga. In 2013, they also worked as a Student Intern in Mobile Development Team for NVIDIA, where they performed use case measurements for Tegra 4 powered Android devices and implemented test automation. In 2012, they worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern for Amazon, where they wrote Pig scripts to pull out and analyze data in the Hadoop distributed file system and wrote Java that used Amazon's AWS Simple Workflow to automate the data analysis. That same year, they also worked as a WPI Eta Kappa Nu Web Correspondent for Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In 2011, they worked as a Technical Intern for SimpleTuition, Inc., where they used Fogbugz to log bugs and verify fixes, learned Selenium to automate tests, worked in Linux to update shell scripts, retrieved and checked out data in MySQL, and wrote Python to display test results on web and send automatic emails containing html pages. In 2010, they worked as a CDMA Drive Test Intern for China Telecom, where they collected wireless network parameters using drive test equipment and learned to use software Pilot Pioneer3.6.
Jing Hu attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Wuhan Foreign Languages School from 2005 to 2008.
