Mukund Sarma is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in product security and application security. Currently serving as Deputy CISO and Senior Director - Head of Product Security at Chime, Mukund leads multiple security teams and is instrumental in deploying secure AI solutions for stakeholders. Prior roles include Director of Security at Chime, along with various senior and staff engineering positions at Credit Karma, where Mukund developed significant security infrastructure, including a cloud-native policy decision platform and a PKI system. In addition to current advisory roles at Coverbase, ConductorOne, and Veza, Mukund has a foundation in security engineering and education, holding a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
