Romain Lecomte has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Romain started their career as an intern at Orange, where they worked on the Ozone project. After that, they joined LivingObjects as a software engineer, contributing to the development of the Bilo analytics software. At Valtech, Romain worked as a software engineer, building and maintaining the Audi connect product for Volkswagen. Romain also provided training on DevOps practices at Valtech Training institute. Romain then joined TabMo as a Scala developer, working on the design and implementation of the programmatic platform called Hawk. Romain later moved to Veepee, where they were a part of the Order Management System (OMS) team, responsible for designing a pipeline for registering customer orders and ensuring high availability of the platform. Currently, Romain is employed at Conduktor as a software engineer, working on the design and implementation of various products in Scala. Specifically, they have built a full RBAC system from scratch.
Romain Lecomte earned a Master's degree in Mise en réseau de systèmes informatiques et télécommunications from Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III) from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their DUT in Mise en réseau de systèmes informatiques et télécommunications from IUT de Lannion (Rennes II) from 2007 to 2009.
