Cone Drive
Gunnar Johnson is a Senior Product Development Engineer at Cone Drive since May 2022, previously holding the title of Product Development Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at Michigan Scientific Corp from May 2016 to May 2022, where responsibilities encompassed custom instrumentation projects, strain gauge-based load cell design, and FEA analysis. Gunnar also contributed to new product development for vehicle instrumentation systems and managed product lines for load platforms and wheel pulse transducers. Prior internships at Attwood Corporation and Toyoda Gosei involved CAD design, quality testing, and prototype assembly. Gunnar holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, attained in 2016.
