Michael Yang

Michael Yang is an experienced professional in the energy and finance sectors, currently serving as a Senior Trading Desk Analyst/Trader at Conectiv Energy since June 2009, focusing on power and gas trading. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Senior Energy Analyst (Quantitative Analyst) at Edison Mission Energy from March 2007 to May 2009. Michael also gained experience as a Credit Risk Student Intern at SunTrust Bank in mid-2006 and as an FX Quantitative Developer/Analyst at RBC Capital Markets from February 2001 to July 2005. Previously, Michael was a Senior Software Developer - Team Leader at Fujitsu PFU Shanghai from July 1997 to May 2000. Michael holds a Master of Science in Quantitative and Computational Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Donghua University.
