Brian Deshong

Brian DeShong is an experienced leader in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) with over 26 years at Con Edison, currently serving as Department Manager for EH&S Operations Support in Shared Services and Customer Operations. Brian has effectively managed teams supporting over 7,500 employees in achieving a zero-harm workplace across New York City and Westchester County. Brian's previous roles include managing safety programs and corporate pandemic response as well as oversight of EH&S incident reporting and auditing. Additionally, Brian holds leadership positions as Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Directors for Clean Harbors Cooperative LLC, and previously worked as a Senior Environmental Specialist at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. Brian's educational background includes a Master of Science in Environmental Technology & Sustainability and a Bachelor's degree in Human Ecology.
