David Brooks

David Brooks is an experienced attorney specializing in environmental law and clean energy transactions, currently serving as Assistant General Counsel for Clean Energy Transactions at Con Edison since January 2015. Prior to this role, David held various positions focused on environmental law and regulatory compliance, including Director at Gibbons P.C. and Associate at Scarinci & Hollenbeck. David's extensive background includes work under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, with a particular emphasis on Brownfields redevelopment and former Manufactured Gas Plant sites. David holds a JD from the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law, an MBA from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, and a BA in political science from the University of Chicago.
