Deirdre Stanley

Deirdre Stanley is an accomplished legal and corporate executive with extensive experience serving on various boards and in C-suite roles. Currently an Independent Board Director and C-Suite Executive since April 2024, Deirdre has also served as an Independent Director at Con Edison since 2017 and a Board Trustee at the Hospital for Special Surgery since 2011. Previously, Deirdre held the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. from October 2019 to April 2024, and at Thomson Reuters from July 2008 to August 2019. Additional experience includes senior executive roles at The Thomson Corporation and IAC, along with serving as Associate General Counsel at GTE Corporation. Deirdre began a legal career as a Corporate Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Educational credentials include a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
