Dr. Steve Kim

Dr. Steve Kim possesses extensive experience in cyber security and forensics, having served as a Director of Cyber and Forensics at Con Edison since February 2013. Academic contributions include roles as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Cyber Security Program at Fordham University (September 2014 - June 2017) and the Graduate Program MS Digital Forensics at John Jay College (September 2005 - June 2010), as well as the current position at New York University in the Graduate Cybercrime Program since September 2023. Prior to these academic roles, Dr. Kim held significant positions including a Task Force Officer in the Cyber Squad/JTTF at the Federal Bureau of Investigation from August 2007 to February 2014 and a Detective in the Computer Crime Squad of the New York City Police Department from August 1993 to February 2014. Dr. Kim holds a Master of Science in Energy Management and Systems Technology from the New York Institute of Technology, a Doctor of Applied Computing from Pace University, and an MBA from the Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
