James Johnson

James Johnson is an Engineering Intern at Con Edison since May 2023, where work in the Manhattan Electrical I&A department involved organizing work orders exceeding $100,000 during the internship. Currently serving as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology, James participates in the Stevens Summer Research Program focusing on the development of an autonomous underwater drone in collaboration with multiple robotics labs. Previous experience includes roles as a Summer Camp Counselor and Health and Wellness Staff at the YMCA of Metuchen Edison Woodbridge and South Amboy, along with working as a Landscaper at Krzyz Lawn Care. Educational background includes a High School Diploma from Sayreville War Memorial High, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Engineering in Robotics at the same institution.
