John Hennessy

John Hennessy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Serving as Managing Partner at Hennessy Energy since January 2013, John also holds the position of Director at Con Edison, where involvement includes committees focused on Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, and Finance. Additionally, John is the Chairman of the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army. Previous roles include Partner at Hennessy & Williamson, CEO of Turnstone Energy, and Director at Atlantic Mutual Companies. John has also led the Syska Hennessy Group as Chairman & CEO from 1989 to 2004 and was the Interim Executive Director at the National Museum of Catholic Art and History. Academic credentials include a Master's in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an AB in Physics from Kenyon College.
