Michael DeFlorio is an experienced professional with a robust background in law enforcement and project management. Currently serving as a Project Specialist at Con Edison since July 2017, Michael previously held the position of Staff Investigator at Con Edison Energy until November 2020. A retired Detective Sergeant with Westchester County, Michael oversaw police personnel and commanded the Pistol Licensing Unit, managing all aspects of applicant approvals. Michael also served as a hostage negotiator and commanding officer with the Westchester County Police, where responsibilities included leading the Warrant Fugitive Unit and serving as Executive Officer for General Investigations. Michael holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Manhattan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Iona University, along with additional training from the FBI National Academy.
