Samia Islam

Samia Islam is a highly engaged and skilled individual currently serving as Secretary at Baruch BSA since August 2022, responsible for organizing club meetings and facilitating communication among members. As a Class of 2026 Fellow at The Opportunity Network since June 2021, Samia participates in an intensive program focused on college and career readiness. Previous experience includes roles as a Student Ambassador for Project Destined, where outreach to the community was a key responsibility, and as a Commercial Real Estate Intern involved in evaluating real estate deals. Additionally, Samia was selected as a Student Fellow at ALPFA, Inc, and worked as a Business Consultant at Rayze Consulting, contributing to market research and strategic recommendations. Samia has also interned at Tech Incubator at Queens College, Goldman Sachs, and operated a successful online store on Depop. Educationally, Samia is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Zicklin School of Business, following a High School Diploma from Young Women’s Leadership School of Queens.
