Kim Gerrish

Faculty & Program Coordinator, Addiction and Mental Health program at Confederation College

She became a teacher after being a social worker in the community for over 12 years because she wanted to pursue an opportunity that would continue to allow me to observe human growth and potential.

Her post-secondary education began with the Social Service Worker program at Confederation College. She pursued my HBSW and MSW at Lakehead University. She is a certified clinical traumatologist with the Trauma Institute of Canada and a Compassion Fatigue Specialist. She have also attended training on mindfulness and self-compassion.
