Eric Carlyon has worked for two companies. From 2019 to present, they have been employed at Configure, Inc. as a Security Analyst and NOC Helpdesk Engineer. In their roles, they have provisioned new employee and customer accounts through SNOW ticketing system and Velocloud Orchestrator, led, managed, and implemented Malwarebytes and security training, KnowBe4, companywide, monitored, assessed, and responded on security related events via RSA Netwitness SIEM, actively monitored multiple client networks/switches/firewalls nationally through SD-WAN, tracked customer issues and resolutions with detailed documentation through SCCD ticketing system via phone, e-mail or live WebEx/Zoom meetings, had a strong working knowledge of phone MACD requests for Cisco CUCM/CUC and Avaya ASA, and managed the implementation and operations of the mobile device management solution for all company employees via Microsoft Intune. From 2008 to 2019, Eric Carlyon served as a Petty Officer in the US Navy, where they were directly responsible for the scheduling, upkeep, and operation of the arresting gear engines to ensure safe aircraft landings onboard the USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77).
Eric Carlyon attended Glenbard West from 2002 to 2006. Eric then attended College of DuPage from 2017 to 2019, where they received an Associate of Science in Computer and Information Technology and an Associate of Science in Cybersecurity and Defense Degree.
