Mike Marechal

Mike Marechal has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Mike is currently serving as the Vice President Global IT at Confluence, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of IT at Confluence from October 2019 to July 2022.

Before joining Confluence, Mike held various roles at StatPro. Mike served as the Head of IT from January 2019 to October 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Global IT Projects & Architecture Manager from January 2018 to January 2019, Global IT Infrastructure Manager from November 2014 to December 2017, Infrastructure Team Lead from March 2011 to November 2014, and Senior Systems Administrator from October 2009 to March 2011.

Mike's earlier work experience includes roles at Vale Inco Limited and the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board. At Vale Inco Limited, they were a Subject Matter Expert - Storage, Virtualization, Wintel from September 2008 to October 2009 and a Senior Technical Analyst from April 2003 to September 2008. Mike started their career as a Helpdesk Analyst at Vale Inco Limited in December 2002. At the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, Mike worked as an Assistant Technician from July 1998 to December 2002.

Mike Marechal attended Mohawk College from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science Technician with a focus on Network Systems Co-op. In addition to their college education, Mike obtained the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from BSI in December 2018.
