Tim Prell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tim began their career as a Senior VP of Engineering Operations at Darwin Networks, where they played a crucial role in deploying broadband access nationwide. Tim then joined Telemics, Inc as the VP of Engineering, leading teams for the national deployment of a wireless telemetry systems business. Tim then transitioned to GE Appliances as a Finance Manager, where they held various finance roles, including finance manager of the Contract Sales organization, Distribution finance, Engineering, and Product Management finance.

After that, Tim joined GE Intelligent Platforms as a Global FP&A Finance Manager, responsible for financial planning and analysis in the automation business. Tim achieved double-digit sales and margin growth while integrating acquisitions and transitioning to a new ERP reporting system. Tim then moved to GE Aviation, where they served as the Engineering FP&A Leader, leading global financial planning and analysis in the Aviation Engineering Division. Tim also served as the CFM Services Finance Manager, overseeing financial operations for the Aviation CFM engine services platform.

Tim's next role was at GE, where they worked as the Customer KYC Onboarding Leader, turning around an under-performing shared service center and improving team capabilities. Tim then became the FP&A Business Leader at GE Power, where they transformed the global FP&A function in the Power business. Tim reduced cost to serve by 20% through process automation and redesign and created consistent global support for multiple operating regions.

Following their time at GE, Tim joined Westinghouse Electric Company as the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. In this role, they led the corporate FP&A team and acted as the CFO of the new Parts business. Tim was responsible for driving the global 5-year plan, monthly forecasting, and management reporting.

Currently, Tim works as the Vice President of FP&A at Confluence, where they continue to utilize their expertise in financial planning and analysis to support the company's strategic goals.

Tim Prell earned their MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Louisville from 2002 to 2004. Tim also completed the Post-Baccalaureate Accounting Certificate Program at Bellarmine University in 2004. In addition, Tim holds a Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma from GE, which they obtained in September 2006. Although the exact dates are not specified, Tim pursued a Master of Engineering – MEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from the University of Louisville.
