Aaron Trout is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps. Currently serving as a Senior SRE at Confluent since May 2021, Aaron specializes in GoLang and the management of Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure. Prior to this, as a DevOps Tech Lead and Senior DevOps Engineer at Limejump, Aaron led the Platform Team in modernizing infrastructure and enhancing security and automation practices. Earlier roles include DevOps Engineer at Nutmeg and various engineering positions at Cisco, where Aaron contributed to developing cloud services on Kubernetes and engaged in community initiatives. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Systems and Networks from the University of Plymouth, completed in 2013.
