Amy Spence

Amy Spence, PHR, currently serves as Manager of Learning & Development at Confluent, overseeing new hire onboarding, professional skills development, and Workday learning management. Previously, at FedEx, Amy held multiple roles, culminating in the position of Manager-Learning Portfolio Services, where responsibilities included managing orientation and onboarding programs across the US and Canada. Amy's extensive experience in learning and development is further exemplified by leadership roles at DICK'S Sporting Goods, where responsibilities included managing learning technology strategies and instructional design. Amy's career began at Citrix Systems, where early roles included Courseware Curriculum Manager and Courseware Developer. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from McDaniel College.
