Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Volante Technologies and Director of Kafka Storage and New Initiatives at Confluent, Anil has a proven track record of delivering cost, performance, and reliability enhancements in cloud technology. Previous roles include Head of Engineering for Relational Databases at Stripe, Senior Manager for the Aurora Database Storage Platform at Amazon Web Services, and Co-Founder of Dastratum, where innovative solutions for cloud data management were developed. Anil's experience also includes leadership positions at NetApp and Motorola Solutions, where strategic product initiatives and award-winning platforms were created. Anil Sharma earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
