Chris Brooks

Chris Brooks currently serves as a Group Product Manager at Confluent, focusing on driving the security charter for a multi-cloud, real-time data streaming platform. Prior to this role, Chris had an extensive career at Microsoft, where positions included Principal Product Manager for the Identity Division, managing Azure RBAC platform enhancements, leading the release of Federated Credentials, and improving delegated authorization. Additional roles included leading security and management capabilities for Azure Storage, overseeing Dynamics CRM’s API strategy and integration scenarios, and engaging with enterprise customers as a Technology Architect. Chris began a career as a Software Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, designing mobile business applications. Chris holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
