David Anderson

David Anderson is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and data engineering. Currently serving as the Software Practice Lead at Confluent and a Committer for the Apache Flink project at The Apache Software Foundation since August 2020, David has previously held significant roles including Developer Advocate at immerok and Founding Partner at FolkLogic SAS, a consulting practice specializing in data-driven applications. David has a proven track record in training and consulting for Fortune 500 companies while at Ververica, where curriculum development and global training programs were key responsibilities. Additional leadership roles include co-founding and serving as CTO for both RetentionGrid and rules.io, along with Chief Architect at ScaleUp Technologies. An MS (ABD) in Computer Science candidate at Carnegie Mellon University further complements David's expertise in the field.
