Kamal Narayan is an experienced software engineer with a background spanning over a decade in various technical roles across notable companies. Beginning a career at Caterpillar Inc., Kamal was part of the Leadership and Technical Development Program and contributed to the development of testing tools for CAT data-link protocols. Subsequent internships at Berkeley Lab focused on performance optimization of a globally distributed lookup service. Following a teaching assistantship at Carnegie Mellon University, Kamal joined Datrium, later acquired by VMware, serving as Member of Technical Staff and then advancing to Staff Engineer at VMware, with a focus on VMware Cloud Disaster Recovery.
