Krys Koper currently serves as the Sr. Lead Counsel at Confluent, starting in December 2023, and has significant experience in legal roles within the technology and data sectors. Prior to this position, Krys was the Sr. Director, Associate General Counsel at Talend, where responsibilities included overseeing legal matters for a leading data integration company from May 2020 to August 2023. Krys also held the title of Associate General Counsel - Americas Commercial at data.ai from September 2019 to April 2020, and was involved with SAP Concur as Director, Senior Corporate Counsel from July 2011 to September 2019. Additional experience includes roles at Oracle and Washington Mutual Bank in contract management and legal guidance, along with early legal training through externships at Sidley Austin LLP and clinic work at Zellermayer, Pelossof & Schiffer. Krys holds a law degree from New York Law School and has a background in education from Portland State University.
